Sutton's Resolve Steffans?

CONFERENCE SOUTH
Att: 436

SUTTON UNITED - 1   [Ball 12]
THURROCK - 0

I'm tired of all this. Can we just take our total of 15 points, work out our average points gained so far (it won't be a lot, let's face it), apply that to the remaining dozen games or so we have left, then add it to our current total and just call it quits? Yes dear reader, I think it's fair to say that our struggles this season are starting to wear me down somewhat.

Another Kick In The Thurrocks

CONFERENCE SOUTH
ATTENDANCE : 255

THURROCK - 2    [Orilonshie 35. Stadhart 37]
SUTTON UNITED - 1    [Hudson 86]

Usually, when a manager jacks it in or is sacked from a struggling side, the team he leaves behind tends to pick up in form and goes on to claim some vitally needed points. But, always keen to break the mould, the U's have managed to achieve precisely fuck all in the 2 weeks and 3 games now since Ian Hazel quit as manager.

Some Luck In 'Fruck

CONFERENCE SOUTH
Att: 237

THURROCK - 1    [Poole 72.]
SUTTON UNITED - 2    [Gray 30. Haylock 57.]

When things ain’t going well, you need a break. A bit of luck to get you rolling again.  And if you can’t get that against a side you’ve proved a bit of a thorn in the side of for a while, when can you get it eh?

A Kick In The Thurrocks

CONFERENCE SOUTH
Att: 506

SUTTON UNITED - 1    [Watkins 60.]
THURROCK - 2    [Lee 63.76.]

Monday's amazing win in Newport has given us all a renewed sense of hope that this season could be about to turn in our favour.

We really should know better than that by now.

Att: 236

THURROCK - 0
SUTTON UNITED - 1    [Jinadu 66]

Why is it we always end up with Purf........er sorry.......Thurrock away from home on a frigging Tuesday evening at a shitty time of year? In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been to this delightful part of Essex outside the period of November to February.

Think I Preferred Purfleet...

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Att: 431

SUTTON UNITED - 0
THURROCK - 3    [Akurang 4. Linger 36. Lee 38]

Match Reporter: Gareth

With everyone’s favourite webmaster (Yeah right! - Taz) away shagging in Austria for the week, I’m afraid I was volunteered to do this report and it certainly wasn’t  quite as good a match as the last time I was roped in, for our two nil win at Hendon last season.

Liberia's National Defecit

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Att: 401

SUTTON UNITED - 1   [Bolt 68p]
PURFLEET - 1   [Akurang 21p]

The trip to Purfleet back in mid-September and the subsequent brilliant 2-0 win was probably where most of us actually realised “Hang on a mo! We could actually have a good season here!!”. Since then a lot has happened and I think some of us still haven’t quite come to grips to with just how good a year we’ve really had.

After the fun of Tuesday night and Eddie’s late equaliser, we’re still no more confident of exactly where the next U’s goal is going to come from.
