SUTTON UNITED - 0
GRAYS ATHLETIC - 6 [Martin 7.15.85. Griffiths 47. Brennan 56. West 59.]
Funny how much difference a week can make eh? Last saturday, another cracking weekend away on the piss, with a vital 3 points at Havant. This saturday, a shambolic home performance and a complete hammering by the league leaders.
Great.

CONFERENCE LEAGUE CUP 3rd ROUND
Att: 204
SUTTON UNITED - 0
WOKING - 3 [Ferguson 15. Sharpling 55. Nade 73.]
Having been dumped out of the Trophy by full-time Grays last saturday, we weren’t too hopeful of springing a surprise on our old friends from Woking in this League cup encounter. Even if they did say they’d be playing several ‘fringe’ players!

HAVANT & WATERLOOVILLE - 2 [Holdsworth 8. Town 62]
SUTTON UNITED - 3 [Gray 1. p27. Akuamouah 64]
After the recent burst in form that's seen the U’s climb away from the bottom 3, the last week has been tough. First a battling display against league leaders Grays in the Trophy ended ultimately in defeat. But at least there was something to cheer about. Unlike the terrible performance against Cambridge 3 days later. Still, we’d have the influential figures of Gray & Akuamouah back for the trip to Havant, so all is not lost.

SUTTON UNITED - 0
CAMBRIDGE CITY - 3 [Robinson 12.p71. Stone 46.]
We always knew this little sequence of 2 games would be tough, but with Gray, Akuamouah and Hemsley out for differing reasons just made it even tougher. Thankfully Hemsley will be one man returning tonight as his absence on Saturday was just down to Crawley not wanting him ‘cup tied’ in the FA Trophy.

Round 3, Our Stop...
FA TROPHY 3RD ROUND
Att: 544
SUTTON UNITED - 0
GRAYS ATHLETIC - 2 [Oli 56. Griffiths 72.]
Our further participation was always in the balance once this draw was made. Oppo looking destined to walk the league in the wake of Hornchurch’s problems and on a very good run of form coming into the game. Couple that with our 5-1 tonking at the Rec earlier this season and things don’t look good.

REDBRIDGE - 0
SUTTON UNITED - 5 [Gonsalves 23. OG 27. Corbett 64. OG 66. Gray p83.]
With the Christmas festivities having passed and the Bobbins relieved of 6 points, it’s back to the more run of the mill Conference South fixtures for the U’s with a trip out to Ford….erm, I mean Redbridge. After the joy & excitement of back to back derby wins, this hardly raises the pulse!

SUTTON UNITED - 4 [Vansittart 32. Scarborough 72. Akuamouah 80. Brake 86.]
BOBBINS - 1 [OG 1.]
With the Borough's Xmas bragging rights all sewn up after Boxing Days 2-1 win at Coldsore to go with that League Cup win at GGL a month ago, the U’s welcome our rivals for the second meeting in under 7 days. A derby grand slam once again within their grasp.
