All Good Things Must End

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Att: 458

BEDFORD TOWN - 2    [Dillon 2. 62]
SUTTON UNITED - 1    [Bailey 45]

We’ve been waiting a while for this one. With our last 2 visits to Bedford turning into 2 classically top days out with drunken sillyness in abundance, we were quite looking forwards to making this trip. The fact we’re on a bloody good run a the time is purely coincidental!

Men On A Mission(er)...

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Att: 368

SUTTON UNITED - 4    [Folwer 7.21. Bailey 9. Boosey 74]
HAYES - 1    [Holsgrove 69p]

Since the 2 sides met on the opening day of the season, Hayes & Sutton’s fortunes have varied quite a bit. And not quite how we’d have liked! From that first game, we felt fairly confident we’d go onto make an impression and Hayes, whilst hard working, lacked firepower.

Nowt From Northwood

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Att: 537

SUTTON UNITED - 0
NORTHWOOD - 0

Having been going a bit mental in front of goal in recent weeks, sods law dictates we were due a crap 0-0 draw where we do everything BUT score against struggling oppo.

Bugger. It’s Northwood at home next.

The Great Hospital Break Out

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Att: 367

HITCHIN TOWN - 2     [Bridge 42. Hutton 74]
SUTTON UNITED - 4    [Bailey 41p.80p. Fowler 45. Jinadu 51]

Back in October, we reached easily the lowest point of our season, going down 3-0 at home to an unspectacular but hard working Hitchin side. The next game was what is generally seen as the ‘corner’ or turning point of our season, the hard fought win at Billericay.

6 Goals, 4 Pints & Chips

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Att: 302

AYLESBURY UNITED - 0
SUTTON UNITED - 6    [Fowler 17.44.60.66.89. Nurse 81]

Aylesbury’s recent history certainly couldn’t be classified as boring. Even before the ‘title’ season in 1998 when they famously sacked their manager in the run in when about 10pts clear, helping our good selves to ultimately overhaul them, they’ve always seemed to have problems of some sort or another lately.

Poppies Pooped

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
Att: 586

SUTTON UNITED - 2    [Boosey 11. Nurse 90]
KETTERING TOWN - 1    [Difante 87]

Back at the arse end of November, we made that rather unforgettable trip up the M1 to Kettering. Unforgettable mainly due to the hugely delayed kick-off of 9pm, but also memorable for the solid hardworking performance by the lads that night. And one man in particular.

Jon Nurse.

Att: 236

THURROCK - 0
SUTTON UNITED - 1    [Jinadu 66]

Why is it we always end up with Purf........er sorry.......Thurrock away from home on a frigging Tuesday evening at a shitty time of year? In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been to this delightful part of Essex outside the period of November to February.
